The climate in Brasilia is relatively mild, with the average daily temperatures in the mid to high 70's. The summers can get really humid with temperature averaging in the 80's. During the winter months the air is drier and a bit cooler, with temperatures as low as 55 F and as high as 77 F.

The optimum time to visit Brasilia is between the months of April and June, when you can enjoy the best weather. On a clear day many Brasilienses enjoy a jog or hike through the Parque da Ciadade. During the hotter months, however, locals and visitors would rather shop during the day or go to one of the many cafes and restaurants in the city than suffer the oppressive heat of summer.

The hottest month is September with highs in the 80's and the coolest month is July with an average high of 75 F and a low of 55 F. The record for the minimum temperature was 34 F and the maximum 93 F. The yearly average is 69 F.
