The famous balls continue tonight including the most elegant held at Copacabana Palace. Street processions and bands fill the avenues with the sounds of the samba. For all of those who love to dress-up, the costume competition is in full swing at the Hotel Gloria. Come along and bring your imagination!

Cordao de Bola Preta Street Band
	Black and white spotted costumes are littered throughout this street band, the oldest in Carnival. Cross-dressing and bar-hopping complete the frenzied walk through the streets. Location: XXXXXXXXX Start:: 10am
Banda de Ipanema
	The famous band performs in the street, welcoming all who want to join in the party. More Location: Praca General Osorio (Ipanema) Start: 4pm
Costume Competition
	If you want to see some of the most of exquisite and creative Carnival costumes, attending this competition as a spectator or participant is the way to go. There are four categories of costumes including sumptuous, original, drag, and soul. Location: Praca Floriano (Downtown) Start: 7pm
Street Band Competition
	Location: Av Rio Branco (Centro) Start: 8pm
Copacabana Palace Luxury Ball, (11:00 pm)*
	For one seeking the glamorous side of Carnival, this is the ball to attend. The most famous of the Carnival balls, magnificent costumes or black-tie is required. More Location: Copacabana Palace (Copacabana) Start: 11pm
Carnaval Ball at Scala*
	These balls are for the not-so-formal featuring live music and samba dancing. More Location: Av Afrannio de Melo Franco(Leblon) and Help Start: 11pm
Gay Balls at Le Boy*
	Le Boy is a Copacabana dance club complete with music and dance floor. The crowd is filled with both homosexuals and heterosexuals moving between house music and samba while dressed in costume and other outrageous attire. More Location: Rua Rual Pompeia (Copacabana) Start: XXXXXXXXXXXXpm
Celebrations Continue
	Performances including music, dance, and merriment continue on the streets of Rio de Janeiro. Location: Rio Folio and Terreirao do Samba (Near Arcos do Lapa and Cathedral Metropolitana) Start: 8pm
